The Hotel's Management/Manager was very accommodating as they gave us a pool view room upon check-in as my wife and i were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The Hotel staff (Business Centre) was extremely helpful & creative as they managed to pull off a surprise for my wife by beautifying the room whilst we were out for dinner at the very last minute. My hats off to a brilliant job. Looking forward to our next visit. Cheers!

had been to Bintan 10 yrs ago, this time I was impressed about the changes of the hotel services, facilities and the most was the food quality from the variety restaurents in the resort area. We have enjoyed a refresh seafood with tasty cooking style at the Kelong restaurent. Impressed about the RIN Japanese restaurent, the chef's cooking skill and the creative idea of making the Japanese food more than outstanding, very impressed and we've enjoyed a lot -- thanks to the chef and the service team. Variety of facilities in the resort area that we will not feel bore when it is rain. All service attendant are willing to help. Lastly, overall I've given the high ranking to the Bintan Resort, it is a leisure place worth to go for honeymoon and I will be more than happy recommend to my friends.

My husband and I spent four days at Bintan Resort, on our return flight to Australia, after eight weeks travelling in Europe. The resort was one of the hilights of our travels. Friendly, courteous, helpful staff, excellent facilities, especially the pool and a variety of quality restaurants. If our stay had been longer we would certainly have participated in more of the activities that were on offer. The beach environment made of pleasant walks and the internet access enabled us to stay in contact with family and friends. It is a great pity that Bintan Nirwana Gardens Resort is not closer to Australia for we would utilize the facilities during our school holidays. Likewise, the ferry transfer was more pleasant that I had expected, with a swift calm transfer between Singapore and Bintan- and that comes from one who is normally sea sick on such methods of transportation. In general the amenties have improved eachtime we have visited. We played Badminton this time and could have had a game of ten-pin bowling, if we had wished. Two things this time however I found very annoying. The Hawker Centre only had two stalls open and the food was microwaved and of a poor quality, yet we were charged double the price we would have paid in Singapore for better quality food. Secondly, as we came mid-week we found that only the Dino Bistro was open. The Pool Restaurant, the Beach Bar and the Downstairs Restaurant were all closed. Supposedly for maintenance, but in actual fact just because the hotel was no where near full capacity. I do feel slightly peeved at this and feel that mid-week guest should be informed that not all the facilities will be available. On the whole however, I feel it is a good place to go and relax for couple of days for people who are on a budget, but do like to have resort facilites.

Staff are friendly and courteous. If you just stand there looking puzzled, one of the staff will approached you to check if you need help. I was surprised that they provide internal shuttle bus services to bring you around the Garden. Missed out the first day and only noticed the notice board stating the service the next day. Missed the chance to try out the different locations in the Garden Area. Ferry boarding pass is precollected for you if you approached one of the counters there on the lobby a day before departure..great! Overall, thumbs up for this place!

It was actually a birthday treat to a friend but I didn't mention it when I booked the hotel. When we got to the room, we were surprised to see a birthday cake there. We called the front desk and they told us it's for us. Very nice gesture. Really appreciate it. The staff were courteous and very helpful as well. Will recommend to our friends.

The main complaint we have is that the room was far too cold! Breakfast was included and was a good range. The band that played over dinner at Dino bar was FANTASTIC, so was the food there. We love just relaxing by the pool and having drinks up at the pool bar. Staff everwhere were very friendly. The Handicraft centre is great for shopping. We would recommend staying at the resort :)
