We stayed in this area for 4nights but we were only in this hotel for 1night as we added an extra night to our trip but couldn't use the same hotel.
The other hotel was newer, better condition, larger room & cheaper with the deal I found. However this was good for 1 night & still the best price I found for the area for that day which was a Thursday.

The location was excellent, easy to get to anywhere. Easy to Covent Garden on foot. Frequent buses but do avoid them in rush hours.

Beds were very comfortable & the room, though very small, was very clean except for the shower & windows, mainly because they were old I suppose. The water didn't run away very well & the shower all but overflowed.

As we didn't spend any time at the hotel I am unable to comment on other facilities but the staff were friendly & helpful.

small room with dreadful bathroom, cracked, tiny and moldy. was moved to another room after complaining and this was little better. Can you imagin poor service at buffet breakfast? they managed it--half the time, the food choices were not there! I think the price for this was extremely excessive even by british standards, I have had better rooms in one star US hotels for 30 bucks per night.

The breakfast was excellent however the staff were not quick to serve coffee or toast.

I was originally put in a smoking room which was very smelly.

The prices on the webpage didn't have the VAT taxes included and I didn't realised untill I got there to pay.

Excellent location. Staff very friendly and efficient. Wonderful situation for exploring Bloomsbury and West End. It was fine except that it was definitely on the small side.

There is a sign in the elevator that apologizes for any inconvenience because of renovations which are going. The sign has been there for at LEAST 6 months. We've been to the hotel 4 times since September, but haven't seen evidence of a single renovation. It would be really great to have towel racks! There was only lukewarm water from the shower, although there was hot water from the sink tap. Otherwise, everything is pretty much okay.

The hotel looked a bit "tired" and the decoration could really be updated. But the staff really friendly, checking facilities good (we were a a basic rate and did our own B'fast every morning in the room, having "re-fill" after the second day), location ideal (10-15 minutes walking distance to Soho/Picadilly) and price excellent. The room was really up to the standards of the hotel, everything needed was there.

Staff were professional and helpful. My room at the back of the hotel was very quiet (important to me) though it faced directly on another building, front is noisier on a busy street.

We got stuck in the lift twice. One time the fire brigade was called. It was out of order most of the time. Concierge was totally useless and could not fulfill any request. The room was acceptable but very noisy. Construction work started at 5:30 in the morning.
