| Single Room: French double beds, small studio style rooms, black and white, Japanese inspired, ticking in abundance, beautiful architectural prints and mirrors, white linen cushions, elegant and eclectic, huge over sized French headboards.
Twin Room: Single beds, more tailored in the English style, black and white ticking, very traditional. Architectural prints, light and airy. Two single beds with stunning balconies with views onto the cobbled South Kensington Mews.
Luxury Double: Our Luxury Double Rooms are decorated in different tones of grey, white and ivory silks. Two of these rooms have stunning antique swan beds, which adds to the unique experience that Blakes offers. Room 405 is decorated in a kimono theme bringing a Japanese essence into the room. It also has a separate sitting area and a private balcony.
Director’s Double: King sized beds, French gilded swan beds or 4 posters. Pale grey Venetian rooms, sparkling, moody and state of the art splendour. Antique Beideremier 4 poster beds with stencilled floors and gold accents. King sized campaign bed, gold and black, Napoleonic, theatrical, decorative items and prints from Versailles. King-sized La Carmona beds, rusts, saffron's, spicy colours, corralled Japanese Shuijo horses around the walls.
Luxury Suites: King sized beds, sumptuous 4 posters, ranging styles and colours. Very tall ceilings, wonderful Antique prints, French windows leading to private balconies, secluded, soft and sensuous. Library suites, Cardinal suites, White French Provencal suites with gossamer nets and mother of pearl furniture. Stenciled floors and trompe l'oeil walls. Beideremeir suites, King sized 4 poster beds with tallboys and abundance of fabric, star tables, stencilled floors, shutters and balconies, bathrooms to match. Charcoal, tailored, masculine suites with beideremier accents over looking the roof tops of South Kensington with 17th Century print bathrooms with borders from the National trust.
Suite 007: Huge windows in 007, the largest suite, a magnificent 4 poster king sized bed, hand painted white floors, large Victorian drawing room with fireplace, bookcases, all beige and white, light and lovely with red accents. The original double-glazed French doors are still used for the entrance. This suite connects to the delightful and delicious, light and airy room next door, again in the same tones. |
