Location and value make up for the small rooms. Small bed and bathroom, but is typical of the accommodation in the central London Hotels

Although the concierge was friendly, he was unable to help find a phone number and did not know how to spell days of the week for arranging the hotelink van.

Hotel was located just one block north of Hyde Park and was right next to many small stores & restuarants. And just down the street(on Queensway) was everything you could ask for (restaurants, shops, post office, etc). And 4 tube stops are within walking distance, including Paddington station (for the Heathrow Express) The room was larger then what I was expecting for London. I did have to change rooms (due to noise from service elevator & no water pressure) but the hotel was very helpful with this. And both rooms had large bathroom facilities (first room had a tub and large vanity)

The staff was not very helpfull. The night of arrival I ordered a meal in the restaurant. When it arrived, it was not what I had ordered, but the waiter said it was and that it was the only version of pasta they had (there very several choises in the meny).I asked to see the meny again to show him what I had ordered, but in the new meny I got the page from which I had picked my order was missing! There was no point arguing with the waiter any moore, as he denied everything, so in the end I ordered an omelet which turned out to be an omelet also on arrival! But not what I initially wanted to eat. I have stayed in London many times, but never been offered such a poor room as this time. It was so small that it felt like it was either me or my luggage to be in there! It was a very hot day/night, so I had to leave the window open to breathe (no air condition). But the room was situated right above the railway line, hence there was impossible to sleep while trains were running (ended very late and started very early). I complained about the room, but the hotell staff said they had no other, and that I could ask again the next morning. So I did, after a night with very little sleep. Again I was told there where no rooms available, but when I said I would not spend another night there, one of the staff talked to the director, and another room turned up. This was also a single room, but larger and of better quality, and I accepted the change. My first room had probably been cleaned, but the drinking glass in the bath contained some unknown brown liquid!

check in time too late in the afternoon.we arr at 7.30am after a long nite flight and have to wait till 2pm to be given a room. Room should come with breakfast or charge lower for guest. We have to take breakfast at next door hotel which charge GBP6 per person instead of GBP9.50 at Blakemore. toilet too small until wash basin was place in the room instead.It was a hot summer night n no aircon we have to open window to sleep but we given room on 2nd floor facing rubbish dump when we request for higher floor during booking

the good point about this hotel is its location. the room was unbelievably small.

I was surprised how few of the staff were competent speakers of English

not the worst location, but get a pass for the day that is good for the bus, and tunnels for the day. cost about 4-5 pounds, but well worth it. it makes getting around on foot much easier when your not on a schedule. avoid taxi service if you can, its expensive. everything in the room seemed to be very oid, and used. some new paint and some new sheets would do this place wonders.

The receptionists hardly understood English! But the Conseargie was excellent and EXTREMELY helpful. Very very shabby. Narrow. Shower temp (too hot) and position of shower head useless! Bed v uncomfortable. No chest of drawers.

Great for those who need a place to sleep while exploring London.Friendly and helpful staff, a simple breakfast could have been included, though, as is the case in most other European countries. Small, but clean and functional. I could have appreciated somewhat more coffee, though, as I am an ardent coffee drinker.

I have made the reservation and i thought it was with the breakfast included. However, i didn't notice it wasn't stated on the reservation flyer and i couldn't then claim for the breakfast. I wouldn't do this reservation if i knew it didn't include it, in advance. I've asked for a room with a large bed for 2 and i was given a room with 2 small beds.

Atencion correcta. Ambiente agradable y tranquilo (al menos en el mes de enero) Estancia agradable.Buena temperatura (en Enero). Sin ruidos.Ropero un poco viejo.

Myself and my sister thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your hotel.Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The room was extremely comfortable with good facilities and maintained well

It was a big party on one of the rooms from sunday to monday. We could ot sleep - we asked for a reduction in the price - but no wE THOUGHT THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL. wE DID NOT LIKE IT.
