Bintan Ferry - Travellers to Bintan Resorts or commonly known as Lagoi prefers to take Bintan ferry services rather than airplanes and its not only because its cheap, but nowadays ferries and onboard services have improved much that you'll feel the travelling itself is an experience of its own. The 45 minutes of travel would flyby even before you realise it and once reaching here, you'll be greeted by the simple yet friendly staffs of Bintan ferry terminal. If you're not from ASEAN countries, you can obtain your visa here, standard visa costs you USD 10 and may be increased if you plan to stay longer.
Most upscale hotels provide shuttle service and if your hotel doesn't provide one, there are lots of transportation methods you can choose. Cheapest mode is the shuttle buses, tickets would cost you from USD 3 to USD 5 depends on your destination. Albeit lacks comfort, these coaches are some of the best coaches around and you can be sure of having safe travel. Bintan Resorts are at its peak during non-monsoon season, from May to October as the waves are friendlier for beach and water activities. There are lots of beaches here, and almost all hotels and resorts have their own private beaches which are well maintained too.

Rates are in Singapore dollars (SGD).
Fare are charged per person per sector.
Two-way fares are not applicable for mixed class travel i.e. Economy + Emerald Class.
Adult rates apply to all passengers 12 years old and above. Children (including infants) below 12 years of age will be charged child rates.
Passengers are advised to check in and collect boarding passes at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal #01-21 BRF Check-in counter at least 1 and a half hours before departure time. BRF reserves the right to cancel booking if boarding pass is not collected 40 minutes before departure.
From Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, Please collect boarding pass 30 mins before departure, otherwise reserved seats will be forfeited.
From Bandar Bentan Terminal, Please collect boarding pass 2 hours before departure, otherwise reserved seats will be forfeited.
For departure from Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal (Bintan Resort), passengers are required to re-confirm their return trip and collect boarding passes at least 2 hours before departure. BRF reserves the right to cancel confirmed bookings if passengers check-in later than 45 minutes from departure.
Payment: Credit card details are required at the time of booking to secure reservation. Full payment will be charged in SGD currency upon confirmation.
It is the passenger's responsibility to obtain visa and a valid passport of not less than six months from the date of travel.
Important Documents Required for Immigration Clearance
VISA, if required.
Each passenger is entitled to 1 hand-carry items not exceeding 10 kg, No larger than 70cmX51cmX34cm and 1 sling bag. Baggage exceeding 20kg will be charged in accordance with rates levied by the respective terminals, up to a maximum of 40kg. Bicycles and surfboards are subject to a $10.00 charge per piece.
