Had to wait for a non smoking room to be made ready for us, though, 2 hours after arrival. Would have appreciated welcome complimentary tea / coffee making facilities

The aircon was not as good as it should have been, particularly during the night, when I suspect it may actually have been switched off.

Disappointed in finding mites marching in the bathroom when in residence at your hotel room (3d/2n) and got bitten actually.

As this is a 5-star resort, we did not see the difference to the 4-star Nirwana resort. The games room at the leisure centre is a disappointment as the games were outdated and some are not working. However, we got to play free table soccer! Hope to see better facilities implemented. The aircon was not very cold during our stay, perhaps due to the hot weather. But at night, also no need to cover blanket:-)

I had no idea that I was going to stay in the Bintan Resorts prison. Captively held within the confines of the resort. I thought I booked a trip to Indonesia, but instead I went to "Bintan Resorts singapore posession". The resort even pretended to let you out of the reosrt by selling you a bus ticket to what sounds like a town, but is really just another shoping center owned by Bintan resorts. And of course BR takes full advantage of the fact they have captive guests, Everything in the entire reosrt complex is drastically over priced for Singapore, and insainly over priced for Indonesia. I am so very disappionted in this place, I was thrilled to think that a vacation spot was just a 40 minutes ferry away, but after this trip I will never return! I don't mind spending money on holidays, in fact I just returned from Phuket, where we spent twice as much money per day, but I left feeling good because I was able to do lots of things and was not taken advantage of.

The whole toilet seats should be removed!

Shampoo was of very poor quality. No courtesy newspaper given as per other hotels of this star rating.
