For guests driving to Best Western Marina Island Resort Pangkor from Kuala Lumpur, please note that you do not need to take a ferry from Lumut town. As the resort has direct bridge linkage from the main land to the island, the hotel is easily accessible via Teluk Muruh/ Teluk Batik, which is approximately 5 minutes drive from Lumut town. The directions to get here are as follows;
From the Damansara toll plaza, take the North South Expressway northbound towards Ipoh. Exit at the Batu Gajah/ Gopeng toll plaza and take the right turning at the traffic lights (towards Batu Gajah/ Gopeng). Thereafter, follow the signboards to "Lumut". The rest of the journey will be on 4 lane dual carriage non toll highway. You will pass Kelly's Castle where you can alight to take some photographs before continuing the journey of approximately 70 kilometres (approximately 35 minutes). Once you are near Lumut, follow signboards to "Teluk Batik" to reach Marina Island. The total journey from Damansara toll plaza to Marina Island, Pangkor is approximately 250 km, or 2 and a half hours.
