Worth the money that was paid for the room. When we checked in on the afternoon of 6/3/11 there was only one staff on duty at the reception counter and thus the service was slow. Checking out was fine as there was no crowd. Saw some shops/food stalls around the hotel but did not really explore so can't comment on this aspect. Attended a wedding dinner in this hotel. Other than the sharks' fin soup the other dishes were fine. For the same price and room would stay here again.

Overall this hotel is okay and just average with low price. The location is in the middle of Georgetown so expect a traffic jam especially during weekend. Bad thing is the hotel didn't reserved a car park for you even the car park is belong to the hotel. I was round Penang until late night and come back to hotel 1am but the hotel car park was full and they closed the car park entrance. I have to park at outside and pay RM5 to the illegal jokey which no safety.

I was very impressed with your staff's service. I had left my son in the room and came back late (3am). I could not wake him up. Asked for a spare key but my son had latched the door. Finally, the staff sent a maintenance staff to remove the latch and let me in. Please convey my thanks to the staff concerned. (My son slept through all this!)

I would suggets you provide a broadband excess for every room. That would have made the stay perfect.

have a small window (like a A4 paper size )so that it can be opened for smokers so that the room wont smell of ashtray.... why a small window if u allow thos body can go throgh.. you will have suicides.. coffee too little as im a regular coffee drinker. and i need at least 5 packs per day

upon checking in at 3, i found that my tv was not working. contacted house keeping and was told they will send me a new set. I finally got a knock on the door at 11pm offering me of all things....a towel!
