When we were there the alarm went off twice in a row in the early hours of the morning. The lift if you can call it that did n't work for at least 24 hours necessitating lugging our rather heavy luggage down several flights of stairs. I have never lived in such a tiny room. I am nearly six feet tall and felt as if I was in a doll's house. When I complained they said nothing better was available and I had booked at least two months previously. The lift was a "coffin." When we returned to the Hotel after a side trip we were given a sliughtly better room which proved that there was after all room.

YOU SHOULD HAVE MORE SECURITY IN THE HOTEL. WE LIKED IT, BUT THE POLICE WAS IN IT TWICE, WHILE WE WERE THERE. WE CANNOT RECCOMEND IT BECAUSE OF THAT. LUCKILY WE DIDN'T SUFFER ANY LOSS, BUT OTHERS DID door not very secure.

Our pant press didn't work. Our tv didn't work - called front desk and they said they would send someone up to take a look - they never did. Room didn't have wash cloths and shower temp was either ice cold or scalding - no inbetween. I will not stay there again.

The hotel was very expensive for what is provided - not much at all. Did appreciate the breakfasts, however. The room was very small, and had few amenities - and no iron. The room faced a public walkway, and there was constant noise from passers-by. Also, the sound-proofing in the hotel was very poor and I was aware of my neighbours constantly. Also, no air-conditioning.

No lift No electric kettle

The main advantage of this property is its location in central London just steps from a Tube Station. There are lots of tastey ethnic eateries just minutes away. Rooms small, but comfortable and adequately equipped. Bathroom is very small but okay. Neighbors are noisey late night sometimes but street traffic not too bad. Seems to be well-managed. Would probably stay there again.

I choose "Poor" for value for money because I paid 49 pounds per night for the room and it was smaller than my bathroom at home! That doesn't seem like much money, but convert it into US Dollars and it's way more than I would pay for that size room. I had NO idea! Small and cold.

The breakfast service was not good The shower was too small!

We would have preferred to have a room on the first/second floor instead of the basement. Despite our request to be moved somewhere above, we had to stay in the basement. I would like to point out, however, tha the room was spacious and clean. Since we have been to your hotel for three times already and intend to stay with you again, we hope to be given a room on the first/second floor next time.
