This hotel did not actually meet my expectation but it suits my budget. The room is too small to start with. The lift can only fits two person. The WIFI is expensive. The breakfast buffee is just plain simple. Thought about saving some money on the room but was slapped with a higher internet access rate here. The location is however good because it is near the underground and close to lots of shops. I would recommend the hotel if you are on a tight budget but if you can afford to pay at least 100 pound. Go somewhere else.

THE STAFF WERE QUITE EFFICIENT ALTHOUGH WE DID ORDER DRINKS ON THE TERRACE AND WERE TOLD THAT THE DRINKS WERE READY , BUT WE HAD TO GO INSIDE TO DRINK---THIS WAS FAIR ENOUGH BUT WE FELT THAT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS WHEN WE ORDERED THEM --IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HOT INSIDE
OUR LOWER FLOOR ROOM WAS REASONABLE , BUT WE HAD WATER DRIPPING THROUGH THE CEILING DURING THE NIGHT PRESSUMABLY FROM THE SHOWER IN THE ROOM ABOVE --THE NEXT DAY THE STAFF MOVED US OUT INTO ANOTHER ROOM
APART FROM THESE INCIDENTS THE STAY WAS GOOD ,

Beautiful hotel Great breakfast Good location

My only concern was how I could have managed to escape a fire incident as I was staying in the basement.

The wallpaper was pealing off the walls, the furniture was old and run down looking. The room was dark and depressing and very small.

The breakfast was very basic and the staff were not helpful

One can get hurt taking a shower as you can not move in the shower.

It was very hard to get served in the bar.You had to look for the barperson.You seemed to loss a lot of bussiness as other people just walk out and went elswere

We recived the most poor check service, most disappointing.

The window was broken, and they did not make a thing to solve it. After that I have problems with my shower, and I have to solve it myself, because they did not have anyone to help me till 9 o clock

Small rooms, narrow lift, ultra narrow corridors. Not designed for standard humans. Tiny bathroom, tiny bedroom, there's no space to leave the luggage, uncomfortable bed...

Nice to have a little pub inside the hotel. The shower was quite small but othervise ok.

Loacting room takes some time. Perhaps information on location of rooms/floor in the lift may be useful. Easy access to two tube stations and bus stops and variety of food outlets great asset. TV set too high and therefore viewing becomes a strain on the neck unless lying in bed with at least 3 pillows!

Although the hotel was in an excellent location and common facilities were very good, our room was located in the underground level near a room that was being repaired and so, there was a lot of noise. We also found several times cockroaches in our room. Although we asked for another room, only on the 3rd day we were moved to a 2nd floor room quite better them the other one (they have made a discount for one of the nights).

I was charged for storing of luggage. ( I checked out at 10.00 am but my flight was at 9.00 p.m.) The bathroom is too small and the seperate cool and hot water tap in the bath room is inconvenience to use. The matteres is too sofe.

Only hotel we've ever stayed at that charges to look after your luggage on the final day! Access by the elevator was very restricted - only 2 people at a time, and often we had to wait a long time because the lift would always bypass our level on the way up and collect people from the floors above, leaving no room to collect us on its way down. Poor bathroom layout - very cramped. Mattress VERY firm - TOO firm! Room also very hot - fortunately a cool change came in, but we could not leave the window open during the night because of the external noise.

Front desk staff not very friendly on check in. Not as helpful as they could be. Room in front of hotel somewhat noisy & hot. Did not like 2 person elevator. It was somewhat unreliable.

A good enough room for the price if a little on the small size
