The hotel is in an excellent location if visiting Parliament Houses (new and old), NGA, the Portrait Gallery and other nearby attractions. It is also close to good restaurants at Manuka and Kingston and cycling routes. I can highly recommend a stay.

If we stayed again, we would be requesting a unit away from Canberra avenue. Otherwise it was a very good accommodation regards Margaret

The rooms were enough for our stay, as we didn't come there to live in the room. We had to pass most of our times on site-seeing. On the otherhand we were unhappy when we saw the bed linen were not changed for the second day. The TV set is not to the standard of the Hotel and for the amount paid per day,ie, as compared to our experience in other places. In addition, there was no DVD player( which is cheaper now a days) in the room because of which we had some problems with our child who wanted to watch her favourite songs and movies. Instead, we found an old VHS player for which we were not prepared. Other than that, we were extremely happy and had enjoyed the tranquility of the Hotel. We would like to come again in future.

But on this occassion we noticed that the Bentley is showing its age. The towels that were once thick and lushes are now thin and dowdy, the room furniture is also showing age. But we must congratulate you on your staff - still amongst the best in Canberra - they are faultless. Also good to see that the Gym is being well maintained, but again some equipment is showing age.

Beautiful large apartment and balcony lighting was a little on the dark side.

Also, the fact that there was no elevator nor nay porterage service was unacceptable. Four of us were all over 65, and one was 76 years of age -- too old to be carrying suitcaes of 20-30 kg up a flight of stairs.
