It is compact--but what isn't in Europe! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The open bar is great in the evening. Our room had a sitting area which made it the same size as an American hotel room. The bathroom was great as it was more normal sized as compared to other places we stayed in Europe. The tea and scones was a treat in the afternoon. Room service was prompt and the food was hot! Location of this hotel is great-it is right around the corner from Harrods in a cul de sac but is very quiet--which is important if you are staying in a city...as it can be quite loud. Also, the tube was nearby and Buckingham Palace is within walking distance. For us, as Americans, the pound was quite steep but feel this hotel contributed to our wonderful stay in London. It was refreshing to come back to the hotel to smiling faces from the hotel staff. Overall, we liked it a lot and would go back and stay there if we ever get back to London. 2 Americans from Nevada

Would recommend to friends for sure. Staff very friendly and easy to talk with.

I missed a trouser press and an elevator to the fourth flour (from the third)
