Our Melbourne Stay - Reviewer: Ross Ellett McLaren Date of review: 3 May 2008 Recommends this hotel: YES Recommended for: Business, Leisure Room Hotel Facilities 5 Bed 5 Ambience 5 Cleanliness 5 Service 5 Room Size 5 Location 5 Amenities 5 Value for Money 5 We stayed at Bayview for 2 nights and found it very convenient - easy to find - good off-street parking - the staff were very helpful and friendly - the room had a lovely view looking over the Golf Course and well appointed and decorated. We would stay again if visiting Melbourne again. We had 2 breakfasts and only one lunch and did not eat an evening meal at the hotel - the food was well presented and reasonable.

We waited a long time for them to fix mistakes like the wrong room and room service. No apologies didn't help. The room was fine when they finally found us one with 2 beds even though that was what we had booked, but the bathroom was extremely small without an exhaust fan.

Hotel handy to trams. Good room service for night snacks. Nice to have a coffee shop. We appreciated the view out to Albert Park and enjoyed plenty of room for our 5 day stay
