Batam Resorts is only 45 minutes away from Singapore by Ferry.
Located only 20km from Singapore and 25km from Johor in Malaysia, Batam is Indonesia's equivalent to China's SEZ's (Special Economic Zones) - a place where the nation's economic planners test new economic policies and ideas. The island is an industrial hub with electronics factories, a large and growing ship repair industry and an even larger oil service sector. Quite a few expats head there for work, and pubs and golf courses have sprung up to serve them.
The main ports on Batam are Batam Centre, Sekupang, Waterfront City, Nongsapura and Telaga Punggur. Harbor Bay is now the main international ferry port for those heading for Nagoya, replacing the old Batu Ampar ferry terminal. Batam Center Ferry Terminal has the most frequent ferry connections to/from Singapore and Johor Bahru.
Sekupang, with ferries from Singapore is best used for those catching domestic connections to the Sumatra mainland and the Karimun Islands. Waterfront City and Nongsapura mostly serve adjacent resorts while Telaga Punggur is the main ferry terminal for boats to and from Bintan

Travelling Duration is as follows
1) Harbour Front -> Batam Centre : 1hr ~ 1hr 10min.
2) Harbour Front -> Sekupang : 45min
3) Harbour Front -> Waterfront : 1hr
4) Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal -> Nongsapura : 30min

Cancellation is made at least 48 hours before your first journey: If you have not yet made the first journey permitted by your ticket, and your claim for a refund is made no later than 48 hours before the time of departure of your first journey, we will refund 75% of the fare you paid if your ticket is a for single journey, or return journey ticket.
Cancellation is made less than 48 hours before your first journey: If you have not yet made the first journey permitted by your ticket, and your claim for a refund is made less than 48 hours before but no later than the time of departure of your first journey, we will refund 50% of the fare for both single and return journey tickets.
Cancellation is made more than 48 hours before your return journey: If you have made your first journey but not yet made your return journey permitted by your ticket, and you make your claim no later than 48 hours before the time of departure of your return journey, we will refund 20% of the remaining fare value after deduction of a full fare single (one-way) ticket.
Lost or stolen tickets: We strictly do not refund for lost or stolen tickets.
Payment: Credit card details are required at the time of booking to secure reservation. Guest's credit card will be charged in FULL and in SGD currency upon confirmation.
Check-In, Deadlines and Conditions:
(a) Check-in at major departure terminals: You are required to check in 1 hour before boarding a service at the appropriate point indicated at the place of departure. The check-in closes 30 minutes before the timetabled departure time for the service.
*Check in at BatamFast counter: At least one hour before departure for printing, collecting of boarding pass and issuance of tickets. Any late check in will be transferred to the next ferry timing.
*Check-in at HarbourFront terminal: At least one hour before departure for Weekdays; at least two hours before departure on Saturdays and public holidays for the morning trips.
*As for the return, its open. Please confirm with the reservation staff of the hotel/resort, the date and timing you want to come back on. Or alternatively you can make the reservations upon arrival at the designated terminal.
(b) Departure at intermediate stops: You should arrive at the boarding point for a service at least 30 minutes prior to the timetabled departure time for that service.
(c) Passenger is not be able to change the ferry timing on the day of departure, when the boarding pass is collected in advance. Change of ferry time is only available when boarding pass is collected on the same departure day. Please ensure that your passport number and your name is correctly printed on the boarding pass given to you. Any mistakes encountered please do immediate changes, BatamFast can only amend any mistakes on the details on the boarding pass at least 30 minutes before the departure. If you are not able to come and amend the details within that period of time, you will not be able to board your reserved departure, the option is to transfer to the next available ferry.
(d) To ensure there is sufficient time to process the departure immigration and security checks, please note that with effect from 23 September 2008 the pre-immigration gate will close 15 minutes before your ferry departure time. This is to avoid any unnecessary delays to the ferry departures.
(e) Should any operational issues arise, BatamFast reserves the right to make the necessary changes on the passenger's departure details.
