We have stayed in the gardens before but this time took a villa as there were more of us. The villa is a good way to have the family sleeping all together. The self catering facilities were basic but as breakfast is provided and there are plenty of places to go and find dinner, it wasn't a real issue. The gardens were lovely with lizards and monkeys to look at as well as some crocodiles (in an enclosure), which the children loved. The staff at the gardens are very friendly and helpful and always smiling. Our only wish would have been to be slightly nearer to the beach but even so it was only a few minutes walk.

The floors of the villa were dirty and the bathroom wasn't clean. There needs to be more than one mirror and there needs to be more towel hanging space in the bathroom.

Shuttle services to restaurants were too few. Other hotels in the price range of S$400 and above provide free buggy services to resort restaurants - shuttles are nirwana came only at 30 minute intervals. Would like some improvement on plumbing systems - slow drains and non-flushing toilets

only average facilities and most activities cost money. like table tennis usage, mahjong sets and board games all cost rental.. will recommend to waive these charges as we are already paying room charges.. room is great, no complaints.

Food was not very good/ breakfast OK, and we had a nice buffet by the pool, over all food could be improved upon. No dish towels for washing dishes. We would have appreciated very much a DVD player/cable or cable TV especially since you sell DVDs in your lobby. With children, watching TV is a favouite passtime. Ceiling fans down stairs would make it more comfortable on those hot sticky days.

The setting where we not could leave the hotell area without a driver and a lot of trouble, made us feel like we had come to a "tourist prison"

Had steamboat for lunch. It sucks. The food for steamboat were not fresh. Had international buffet dinner. There's not much variety. It's a pity that it doesnt taste as good as it seems. Overall, the the food quality is definitely below average. One thing to praise though.. is that the customer service is good. In additional, we learnt from the website that every villa comes with a vcd player. However, we only learnt the truth when we reached Banya Biru. It's is really dissapointing to find out that we have to rent it upon reaching. Nevertheless, we did try but all vcd player are being rent out. Water drainage problem in 1 of the bath room.

The toilet upstairs smelt, suspect blockage.

It would be more convenient to be provided with a buggy for each villa for ease of travelling around. It would be even more attractive if there are more places nearby to shop around or more eateries. Would be ideal with a dressing table and mirror provided in each bedroom. The villa went blackout for a few times on one of the days and the torch is out-of-battery. Caused panic and fear.

Nirwana, as a whole, has the various facilities and provides different resorts to cater to different groups. Banyu Biru is definitely great value for money and I'm impressed that service is not compromised. It's definitely a great choice of accommodation, especially for a short getaway. The villas are well-maintained with the necessary amenities. Very satisfied with the villa.
