The Avalon Courtyard is on of the most beautiful and clean hotels I've stayed at in my travels around the world. The staff are excellent and so friendly. If those things were all to consider than I would definetly stay again but.....it is so far from nowhere that to go and visit any site is at least an hours drive. One cannot even catch a taxi on the main street from here nor, could one take the hotel taxi somewhere and be dropped off because to catch a normal taxi back would be impossible since the hotel is not located on any main streets but back in an out of the way, unknown section. Therefore, you are at the mercies of the hotel's taxis and drivers even for a short trip to the mall. This handicaps even getting to ATMs before your next tourist stop. All in all, the hotel is lovely but if you're traveling to tour this is not the place for you, choose a place more centrally located!
