Ellerslie - Ellerslie is a largely residential suburban city best known for Auckland's main horse racing course, Ellerslie Racecourse and for being the original site of the Ellerslie International Flower Show, an annual garden show now moved to Christchurch at Hagley Park in 2008. The race course, built in 1886 remained at the very same place till today.
