The Hotel was opposite the Southern Cross station and as we had to catch a very early sky bus the next morning it was ideal for purpose.

Visited this hotel two years ago and this time it was better, mainly because we were put in tower two with a city view room which was nice and large. Location is good for the docklands and Southern Cross station for the airport bus and about a 15 min walk to the casino/entertainment complex.

The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. one suggestion to make is that there should be towel racks installed in the bathroom so towels can be hung to dry and be reused the next day.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip, we attended a " Andre Reiu" concert which was played in the Telstra Dome, a 300 - 400 yard walk and the closest hotel to the venue. The location of the hotel is also on the fringe of the "City Circle" so the free tram circuit is also a bonus for getting around the city centre and various points.
We have stayed in this hotel twice previous and will most probably stay there again.
Price wise is possibly a little on the high side for the facilities, no bar or bar service and no restaurant, although continental breakfasts are available in a dining area.... after all, it is called a HOTEL, so one would expect a bar and resturant on the premises.
In saying this, it suited us for the purpose we were in town for, there are eating places in the close proximity and as stated previously we knew the hotel and stayed there twice prior before it being absorbed into the "Best Western" chain.

WE enjoyed the hotel, the rooms are not large but they are clean and comfortable. The veiw is excellent and the hotel is in a fantastic location, Would stay here again.

I stayed here with a friend - we live in Melbourne but were attending a seminar in the city and decided it would be easier just to stay over night.
We thought we had booked a room for two - turns out we got a two bedroom room! We each got a tv and the beds were very comfy (especially as I won the rock off and got the double bed!).
Very much recommended.

Because of my deafness, I wish to see the installed subtitles in the television in the guest's bedroom.

Housekeeping seemed a bit 'hit and miss'. First morning no resupply of tea/sugar etc. 2nd morning no hand towel and not all towels replaced. Cleaned very well though. Would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient for Airport Skybus (3 minutes walk), free tram and dockside water front. All you need for sightseeing.

Perhaps a little bit far away from the city centre but excellent tram services ( City circle free) readily available Air conditioning a little difficult to control initially.Very restful and well appointed room.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Larger than I had expected, which was a pleasant surprise.

What a great location!! Telstra Dome, DFO, Vic Market, City Centre & Southbank all on your doorstep, just park the car on site and away you go!! We will be staying here again on our next City stopover 10/10 Very clean & neat. The bathroom was a little on the small side but not really a problem.

I would stay here again. Clean & comfortable with basic ammenities, excellent for a stay where I was out during the day and came home only in the evening.

It was a beautiful room, with a wonderful view.The shower in our room was one of the best showers i have found in a hotel room, it was beautiful.I searched melbourne for a good quality hotel and iam so pleased with the room, that i will be booking it for future stays in melbourne.The only down side i found to the room, was not being able to have a window that opened.

Staff friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

The TV has too few channels available and reception poor. We were not able to watch any 'ordinary' programmes, just australia TV. No hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes while showering.
