Three bdrm apartment excellent value Very spacious high quality

We were impressed all round the rooms and their views were stunning. an absolute pleasure after holiday city's stuff up was sorted out Star City was really good, the staff were excellent, in the event that i was not informed that i was expected to pay up front and that a $400 bond was necessary, they were extremelt helpful and understanding

Star City was a great place to stay. Great access to public transport. Service was excellent. The two bedroom city view room with ensuite was very nice. We were on the tenth floor and had a great view overlooking Darling Harbour(a tourist spot) The service was wonderful, with the room being serviced everyday made for a relaxing stay. Everything was provided for even laundry detergent for the washing machine, dish washer tablets. It was a great place to stay and will be returning when we next visit Sydney.

We arrived for check in at 9am and we were given our room straight away which was fantastic. Overall we had a great time here. We travelled all over Australia and the Star City was by far the best accommodation that we stayed at. Very spacious and modern apartment. We liked the extra touches like washing machine powder. The apartment was very well equipped.

Would like to have had more crokery and cutlery. We loved the three bedroom apartment with harbour views. Layout good with lots of living space.

Expecting Superior Pyrmont View of water - not of roof tops. For a casino expecting a little extra than a simple motel room.

We thought we were going to have a king size bed and found we had two double size beds, which were too small.

WAS NOT ADVISED BY HOTEL THAT A BOND WAS NEEDED ON TOP OF THE ROOM RATE WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS.

Very good value for family travel. Well designed and very thoughtful for family use. Enjoyed my stay and will not stay anywhere else if visiting Sydney again. Keep up the superb work!

Superb gym and swimming pool. Only negative comment was it contained two double beds - one double and two single would have been more convenient.

I faced a problem while check-in. I was told to prepay the entire amount for the stay in advance instead of a credit card security. On my refusal to do the same they finally agreed after repeatedly showing them your terms&conditions. Also they told us that they were giving us a corner room which would be bigger as well as a view of two sides. What we actually got was a room next to the lifts which was actually in the centre of the hotel and also the worst room in the hotel as reconfirmed to us by the porters who helped our luggage up. After calling the reception the lady responsible for the mess refused to come on the line and another gentelman came on the line and told us the only option was to pay additional 40.00$ per night and move to a three bedroom apartment which would also be a corner room. Having no other choice we accepted to do the same.

Our stay was most enjoyable, all staff and facilities were excellent

Had some trouble checking in, were not given the non-smoking room that we asked for We were very surprised, much nicer than expected
