food very basic and expensive, breakfast - juice watered down, cereal stale etc taxi's from hotel very expensive when local drivers do not directly receive the money - they claim drivers do not speak english so it is impossible to get taxis outside of hotel. bathroom amenities very basic, old towels, no face washers, had to pay for dvds - not included in room

Nice here, especially spa, although expensive. But the restaurants and bar were closed pretty early. You can have only room service. If there are more nice places in night, it would be much better. Clean enough. You can enjoy in the room day and night. But I can't say it's great enough since the room was not so big. I also wanted to have bath powder.

The swimming pool are to small.

Very good atmosphere, the personel is always smiling and helpful. I actually changed the deluxe room into a garden suite when we arrived as were 3 and I didn't want to sleep in the same room as my parents ! :)

We received an upgrade with wonderful accommodation

The resort was wonderful and we had a great time. The only negative was the mattresses which were hard. Great easy getaway from Singapore.

This probably the best hotel we have stayed in. The service was immaculate from start to finish. We were greeted personally at the Ferry terminal, driven to the resort where the room had been freshly prepared with an ambience of lemon grass oil. All the hotel staff appeared absolutely committed to ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent, and very reasobaly priced. Swimming and snorkelling was good, and there was no difficulty arranging for a late check out as we left in the afternoon. The room was perfect - spacious, graceful modern furnishings, really big comfortable bed, view from Balcony over pool and beach.

The bath surface was peeling

I wish they have more remedies for jellyfish sting. I had a really bad sting, and they sprayed some vinegar on it. But the poison re-surfaced again a week later...much worse than before. I wish I would be advised on what to do, what not to do etc etc..

the only drawback of the hotel was that after 10.30, you were only limited to room service for food and beverage. Otherwise, the service was excellent and they even had guest activities planned out for you. The room I had had a view of the ocean and it was simply spectacular. The room was also provided with scented incense and aromatherapy oils for you to light,a very personal touch not found in other places.

Exellent. We could not fault it in any way. A little smaller than we expected, but overall we were very satisfied with it.

1. the price quoted at the spa is not clear. 1. suggest to provide coffee table.

Great overall facility. I wish the Laguna Bintan Golf Course was in better shape, but I understand the restorartions that are going on right now. Excellent view of the pool and ocean. Great accomodations except for size of the beds.
