The mystical island of Langkawi is home to The Andaman Hotel Langkawi at Datai Bay. Situated between the majestic Mat Cincang Range and the deep blue Andaman Sea, the resort has been built in the middle of a virgin tropical rainforest. Centuries old trees, many with huge buttress roots and jungle creepers envelope the resort creating a haven far from the bustle of city life. The Andaman has 188 deluxe rooms and suites. Each is furnished with king or twin beds, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, writing desk and chair, individually controlled air-conditioning, hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safety box, Nespresso coffee machines, DVD players and IDD telephone lines. Lanai rooms feature sunning decks with umbrella and are on the first floor. Each suite has one bedroom, a separate living area, spacious balcony and private bar.
