A complimentary shuttle service to key shopping and dining areas. Would be a great addition given the location of the hotel. A complimentary shuttle service from jetty and airport would be desired too

Lovely location, peaceful with good views. The guided walks around the hotel grounds were excellent. Snorkelling was easy and good. Plenty of choice of food.

Rooms could be better (sound)insulated

If not for the promo package, I find the room rate way too expensive. The restaurant are over-priced. So if travellers go with such prior info, then the stay wld be more enjoyable. While the king size bed was firm, both my wife and I had backache the next morning if we slept on our back.

The restaurant service people were very friendly but the reception was not. I noticed they took time to banter and chat with the caucasians and japanese but we just get the basic stripped down service. ie, here's your key, wait for your drink (upon arrival) and sign the hotel bill, thank you bye type deal. I was sad to note that the rooms were dirtier than before (I was there 2 years ago). I recommended 1 other family to join us and nobody told them about the facilities which were excellent and they didn't know what was on offer. On arrival at 10 pm, we were made to wait half an hour for a welcome drink! I thought we were waiting for our keys. I rather go to the bar for a drink then to wait pathetically for a lousy drink which was just put on the coffee table. This was totally different from last time. We were served at the bar when I was there. We were served at the bar by a very nice lady and she went through some basic things about hotel with us. There was no write up inside the room about the famous nature/jungle walk and all the tours that you can provide. So I had to be the hotel liason officer on Andaman's behalf to make sure my friends enjoy their stay there. They were amazed with the facility but what a pity the staff were not very motivated to adv!

It was quite scary travelling to and fro the hotel at night as most of the street lamps were not working. I was going to order extra beds for the 2 connecting rooms but the hotel very kindly had put in an extra bed in each room for my children, comlimentary by the hotel. We thought it was most thoughtful.

breakfast at the restaurant is very expensive!
