We found the reception staff to be extremely helpful. They were always willing to assist in any way. The location was great between two metro stations and within walking distance to many attractions. We would definitely stay at the Alma again.

the ... rooms are small, but we were out most of the time so it wasnt a proeblem it was quiet and the bed was fine.

the best of this hotel is the location, definitely. Just five minutes walking to eiffel tower, ecole militaire, metro station.
the breakfast is europe's standard, ... much better is to have it in a cafe just across the street.
the staff was helpfull enough, the cleaness was ok.
if you're expecting confort, avoid. If you want just to sleep before a day walking the city, that's very good.

Recommendation:   By Mr.Terrance L. Miller I was surprised when i had to pay 6 euros extra per day for a continental breakfast consisting of only 2 pieces of bread, juice and coffee. . The walls between rooms are very thin and lack insullation, therefore, noise is heard between the rooms; except ... for the smaller, 1-bed room located behind the elevator on each floor: 26, 36, 46, 56. To sleep without noise from next door, i moved to one of these small rooms behind the elevator. But i did not receive credit for this room's lesser price when i checked out.
