We found the reception staff to be extremely helpful. They were always willing to assist in any way. The location was great between two metro stations and within walking distance to many attractions. We would definitely stay at the Alma again.

The rooms are small, but we were out most of the time so it wasnt a proeblem It was quiet and the bed was fine.

The hotel was good for the price we paid but the staff were not that helpfull. The rooms could do with an update but otherwise ok.

This is an old tinny hotel, but everything works and for the price it's good.
The best of this hotel is the location, definitely. Just five minutes walking to Eiffel Tower, Ecole Militaire, Metro Station.
The breakfast is Europe's standard, much better is to have it in a Cafe just across the street.
The Staff was helpfull enough, the cleaness was OK.
If you're expecting confort, avoid. If you want just to sleep before a day walking the city, that's very good.

It was a pleasant room - a great value for the money. No air conditioning, which wasn't a problem in May but may be tough in the summer.

Lack of communal facilities in lounge area, combined with small rooms meant that socialising with others was difficult. We booked a double room but only a twin was available, very disappointing

kept up all night on the third night by the sound of the radiator filling but this did not seem to be a problem the first two nights

The Alma Hotel is in an excellent location, though the street itself is not especially attractive. The hotel is a bit dingy, but the cost is reasonable and the hotel staff are pleasant and helpful.

It was a cozy, very warm room.

Staff ok, breakfast quite basic, tinny radio with tuning static playing during breakfast. No bin in room, only one small one in bathroom (climb over toilet, bidet to reach it). Shower head sprays everywhere but on your body. Sink blocked, really gross after cleaning teeth.

The location is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

Very well situated, within working distance to all public transport - but not 100 metres away from the Eiffel Tower ??? The room was very nice and cosy, but could do with some more lights as the window lights were not too bright

For the price, location, and room standard this was excellant value for money. Very happy! Given the location and the affordable price, we did not expect the room to be as good as it was.

I hope people in hotel should be more helpfull the toilet and bath room is very small and not confirtable as many hotles i reserved before using your site.

Excellent location near eiffel tower. Very basic facilities. Staff friendly & helpful. Overall good value for money but very basic. Rooms weren't as clean as they could have been. Seat in room had filthy material cover and table was dusty, we are pretty sure our towels weren't changed only re-hung.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the wonderful staff. The room was no better and in some cases, worse than most hostels. I was extremely dirty, small and hot.

Great location. The owner was nice and most helpful - went out of the way to get us a pot and cups when we asked for warm water for taking medicine. The other staff were not as friendly. The same request was not entertained. It would be excellent if the hotel would provide for a kettle and/or cups/mugs or making warm drinks. We resorted to making use of the brushing cups from the toilets, which were incidentally not replaced.

Again; considering the cost and the location of the hotel, I was very pleased with everything offered by the hotel. The room was perfect for our needs: comfortable, clean and reasonably priced.
