The hotel is very convenient located and the breakfast was excellent.
The hotel room size is adequate but the room amenities
is in much need of upgrading as compare with many other upcoming new hotel around.
Good value for money stay.

The Aldy Hotel Melaka was initiated by a local businessman and his spouse who possess vast experience in the service industry and business management. Together, they aspire to promote the local tourism industry with the encouragement of the Melaka state government. Bamboo Hut Bistro occupies the former bank, with its building still intact, restored and opened for business since 31 August 2000, Malaysia's first National Day in the new millennium.
With the setting up of Bamboo Hut Bistro, the historical area along Jalan Kota which was usually dark and quiet at night immediately came to life with its music and bright lights. Tourists now had a place to rest and dine. The Aldy Hotel Melaka mission was to create an oasis within the vicinity. Hence, bamboo was planted to “neutralise” the “heat” of the Red Centre of town and to provide a cool, welcome sight for visitors to Bamboo Hut Bistro.
The concept spelt success and people have since been patronising it whenever they visit the area. The vicinity is now brightly decorated with street lights at night, boast the biggest TV projection screen in town and soccer fans have a ball watching live matches here. The Aldy Hotel Melaka also organizes functions like dinner gatherings and birthday parties for guests upon request.

Recommendation: By Ms.Min Ki Ng Singapore We stayed just one night in a double superior room and reservation was made through internet accomodation booking site, hoiliday city. i find those accomodation booking sites offers better rates than direct to the hotel.
our superior room ... was on the small side, dark and the carpet smells, somewhat. needs extra lights with different control switches and shampoo for the carpet.
the bathroom was very small, only shower available and it was quite a challenge not to get wet myself when i helped my little girl showered.
the breakfast set was included with the room, the choice were plenty and good, so was the portion and friendly service.
complimentary parking lots was available too, not many though.
no pool, just a small jacuzzi on the roof top.
the best part of the hotel : location! it's short proximity (short stroll) to major attractions eg : st paul church, malacca famous red houses, jonker street and makota parade (shotcut at the end of the street from the hotel).
the down side : night time, the live band @ the bamboo hut bristo could be heard from our third floor room ( highest floor that the hotel still offers room) till late into night. definitely only reserve 3rd floor an towards the back of the hotel is highly recommended.
