The hotel is very convenient located and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel room size is adequate but the room amenities is in much need of upgrading as compare with many other upcoming new hotel around. Good value for money stay.

The hotel location was excellent as it was in the heart of the city. My main issue why was I overcharged for broken room key? The air-con in the room is noisy and we did not have a good sleep. Why breakfast was a-la-carte and not buffet? This hotel is good for singles or back-packers

A convenient location to most places of interest. The many choices of set breakfast was ideal. Room was clean but bed was a bit hard.

Hi,i was expecting a buffet spread for the breakfast but it was ala-carte.No doubt children was staying free but it ended up i have to pay RM16,for my 5yrs old child for her breakfast when I thought it will be complimentary.Hope fully in future the hotel might revised the above matter.Overall,i enjoyed my stay at the hotel because of the convenient location...what you want to see was at the doorstep.Thank you.

Dear All , If compared to other hotel, Aldy Hotel Stadhuys Malacca are the best location which located at heart of historical of Malacca . Whenever you visit and feel tired ,was the most fastest way to return your hotel to have a short rest or nap . The staff are courteous and helpful . If you are no sure where to get a good foods , you just checked with them Your must tried their " big breakfast " big portion and delicious too . If you are taking own public transport to Melaka . During departure, you may need to call cab to sent you central bus station . But this hotel can provided transport to sent you to Central of Melaka bus station too only you need paid for MYR 20 per trip with one day in advance booking with the reception counter . Usually the local cab required MYR 18 ~ MYR 25 too .

The bed is ok.. but the pillow is rather flat not comfy. I'll probably bring my pillow the next time i come. Limited parking lots. Luckily i was early and manage to secure the hotel's parking lot. Wonder what if its all occupied? Where would i be parking and do i need to pay for the parking coupons?
The hotel website mention there is available wifi but it is only available on ground floor and not in the room..

The good points is the good location, walking distance to places of interest (jonker st, st paul's church,etc) and shopping (carrefour, makota parade, etc) Breakfast was good

Price is reasonable and will definitely return to stay.

this hotel located at a very convinnient locationand clean.

We stayed just one night in a Double Superior Room and reservation was made through internet accomodation booking site, Hoiliday City. I find those accomodation booking sites offers better rates than direct to the Hotel.

Our Superior room was on the small side, dark and the carpet smells, somewhat. Needs extra lights with different control switches and shampoo for the carpet.

The bathroom was very small, only shower available and it was quite a challenge not to get wet myself when I helped my little girl showered.

The breakfast set was included with the room, the choice were plenty and good, so was the portion and friendly service.

Complimentary parking lots was available too, not many though.

No pool, just a small Jacuzzi on the roof top.

The best part of the hotel : Location! It's short proximity (short stroll) to major attractions eg : St Paul Church, Malacca famous Red Houses, Jonker street and Makota Parade (shotcut at the end of the street from the hotel).

The down side : Night time, the live band @ the Bamboo Hut Bristo could be heard from our third floor room ( highest floor that the hotel still offers room) till late into night. Definitely only reserve 3rd floor an towards the back of the hotel is highly recommended.

I was trully amazed at the affordability and overall comfort level. The proximity to all the important places of interest was simply remarkable. The only drawback was that the music being played at coffee house was quite audible to the room I stayed in.

The location is great. The staff is very friendly. Every thing is great except one thing : The room is rather noisy because of the live entertainment at the bistro below.

Excellently located for tourism, Good food on Ground floor Restaurant, Coped with a very early morning arrival. Very pleasant helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay in Melaka & When we come back we would definitely want to stay at Aldy

This is a lovely hotel with its facilities particularly with the jacuzzi and the roof top dining experience.
It's a convenient place within short distance from the interesting Jonker Street. The breakfast included in the price is also well presented. definitely value for money!

Would be good if the condition of the carpet looked into. A fresh layer of paint for the interior walls will brighten the whole place.

The rate of this hotel is worth. Good Location, room is much better than others 3 star hotel.

Not enough complimentary parking lots. I have to wait for one. If you park in the many available lots along the road - must display coupons. I actually saw a parking waden came to inspect and issue a ticket for a car whose driver just left a few minutes earlier without displaying a coupon. We were given the family suite on the same level as the reception or just above the restaurant.

The breakfast is delicious. quite noisy after midnight, could hear sounds like moving bed or chair from other rooms.can't sleep well...
