Charming hotel with lots of ambiance. First night the room we had didn't have wireless connection, so the next morning we were promptly upgraded to a courtyard room, free of charge!! The location of this hotel is great, right at Little India, and a short walk to Bugis. I would recommend this hotel to anybody!!

This hotel met my expectations except the size of the room. Had come on a visit and the idea was to get a hotel which is average rate and close to a place where i get indian food. Overall it was very nice staying at Alert Court. Good Luck !
Staff service

The counter staff are very slow in processing check in and check out, even though one already has a prior booking. They really have to improve.
Hotel review
Location not bad -walking distance to MRT station. Ok for most activities - only that facilities limited - quite unique assuming part of the building were probably old or pre-war shop houses ? pretty clever idea. Overall not a bad place to stay but rates can be lower.
The Albert Court is in a good location as it is easily reachable by the MRT & near the Arab quarter. The staff were helpful though at times it seemed that more staff on the desk would have helped. We did not eat at the hotel as, it being Singapore, it is surronded by good local eateries. Generally the hotel is good but is showing some signs of 'tiredness' which in our room showed itself in the bathroom around the taps & door. Hopefully the management will fix such faults while they are still minor as they detract a little from an otherwise lovely boutique hotel.

The staff were couteous and friendly and tried to attend to all my requests. The hotel is clean and quaint but no swimming pool and we would love to have cooled off each day in a pool. The location was very good for the purpose of my trip and close walk to both little India and Bugis Street MRT stations. The food in hotel a little expensive but directly next door was an excellent food court at exceptional value for money. Rooms on the ground floor were a little noisy due to tiles outside room and constant water fountains that sounded like light rain, every other floor has carpet to muffle outside noise. Would suggest rooms on higher floor for natural light and qiuet. The bar in hotel very expensive and very small but this aside my stay with my daughter was a very pleasant experience and would consider staying again.
Feedback
Our stay was short however the hotel served our purpose. Liked the location as we enjoy India food. Pity the bar closed so early as we were waiting for friends to join us and would have a enjoy drink waiting for them. Note we arrived about 9:00pm after international flight - suspect the hotel does not really cater for international travellers. Would stay again though.
Value for money
The location was so good, just right next to Sim Lim, OG, Little India and Bugis area. There are numerous hawker stands to choose from. We didnt have breakfast in the hotel, but the hawker stand next to the hotel, more than makes up for our lack of hotel food. We almost had Kaya Toast everyday and it only costs SGD 2.5. ALthough there are minor issues in the room, which you can totally overlook. The bed was big enough for a twin, duvet was very comfortable. There's free newspaper every morning and the will gladly refill your coffee and tea everyday. There are also complimentary water which they will refill everyday too. The front desk should be a little more friendly but all in all, our stay was very worthwhile. I'll probably book again in this hotel.
Staff were in the main courteous and helpful, especially bell boys and maintenance staff. Reception staff were quite friendly. Our only criticism is that we actually booked a premier room, and no way was the room we were given a premier room. Common areas of the hotel were fine, but the room(s) could do with an upgrade/refurb. All looks a bit tired and getting shabby (rooms). Didnt have food so can't comment at all. Location of hotel was excellent for MRT (Little India) and for short walk to Orchard Road/Main areas. What we were grateful for was although booking out at noon, we were allowed to store luggage until our departure to airport at 8.30pm Didnt think the room warranted the price we paid.
