Was surprised by the quality and standard, felt I was recieving good quality for my money.

Although it was then quickly fixed, I have marked "service" down slightly as a result. I noticed dried blood on the bed cover.

The standard of the rest of hotel is so good that when you get to the 8th floor it is a lttle bit of a let down and the fact that bags have to be carried up and down that narrow back staircase not only by guests but by your staff seems out of kilter with the rest of the establishment. did not notice the first time in the room but the second time we noticed that 3 of the tiles on the floor in the kitchen area were badly cracked and getting to the dangerous stage.
