It is as good as it ever was. Right in the heart of Wellington it provides easy access to all attractions and the downtown. Very nice, comfortable room.

Bathroom ceilling needed repair, and water appeared to be leaking on the towels.

I found out that I could have got an AA discount, this was after I had paid the account, so missed out. TV reception could be improved on and the doors are noisey when they close.

However we were told the food will not be ready. We opted for the continental breakfast, but quality was much below you expect. I have travelled much and stayed in many 3-4 star hotels, but when compared with what you get in Singapore, or Kuala Lumpur or any other place the standard was low. For example you do not expect canned fruits to be served, and you look for much variety, as breakfast is very important for many travellers.
