Arriving at the Aarons Hotel from Sydney airport late at night (following a 6 hour flight from Singapore), my wife, 10 month old daughter and I encountered a sullen and unhelpful receptionist. (The receptionist's attitude was easily the poorest I have encountered in any of the European, US, or Australian hotels in which I've stayed). Although we initially had booked 5 nights' accomodation via the website, we quickly checked out of the hotel at the earliest possible opportunity (9:00 am) and moved to the Country Comfort hotel just 5 minutes walk away. For only AU$20 dollars more per night - a double room in the Country Comfort was $130 per night as compared to the $110 we paid for the Aarons Hotel room - the standard of service, ambience, and quality of room were all much better.

Need a wending machine for drinks and somebody to help with the lugage. The room and toilet was'nt cleened well.

it has some failings but makes up for it in position and cost . room was a 3 star so gos with the cost etc
