This hotel has an excellent location close to shops and public transport. The staff are particularly courteous and helpful. The adjoining bar and restaurant serve good food, and there are a good range of restaurants close by. My main criticism would be that the room was too small for the double plus single bed, which made it difficult to get around in the room and there was only one (non-upholstered) chair. The cleanliness of the bedroom carpet could also have been better. All in all this hotel is good value for money for a short holiday, but would not be so so comfortable for a longer business stay.

My partner and i booked this accomodation well in advance of our trip believing we did the right thing. We also telephoned the hotel two days before to confirm our booking. Upon arrival at the hotel we discovered there was no parking availiable and was directed to the kings hotel parking which we later discovered had to be paid for out of our own pockets, not at the expense of the aarons hotel. We also had to walk a block with our luggage and down two levels at the parking lot as their lifts were out of service. The lady at the to hotel was very rude, unwilling to listen to me and commented that it is not their duty to ask if customers require parking. She spoke to us in a way no customer should ever be spoken too and was very stubbon when we suggested that a simple question such as "Do you require parking?" may be necessary when bookings are confirmed she replied with "most hotels in Perth dont have parking. Its not up to us to sort that out for people." In my opinion she needs a lesson or two in customer service. i just wish i had caught her name. She later mentioned that they had about 4-5 parking spots for hotel guests although they do require being reserved.. seeing as we booked 3 weeks in advance and telephoned to confirm one simple question in my opinion would have allowed us to reserve parking, seeing as we had travelled 500kms parking was quite necessary... She then stated that i could bring this up with her manager althought she didnt not get him for me and she also said that there was a comments form in the room that i could fill out. When we got to our room i was astonished it was tiny. Yes it had a double bed, wardrobe, bathroom and TV the usual but not nearly a metre anywhere to walk. Oh and there was no information about Perth city or a comments form, there was no information whatsoever. which i thought was ironic cause when i asked about it the lady just said that they are being updated currently and she didnt offer me another one either. Then at check out my partner and i asked for some cash out when we were paying our bill (cash was to pay for parking) but the guy said no, use the ATM in resturant. i went to but it was out of order. so i went back to see the guy who said no i cant give cash out even though the ATM is not working although there is an ATM a couple of hundred metres that way. which incidetly was a couple of hundred metres in the opposite direction that we already had to walk to get to our car. this was a horrible stay i do not recommend it to anyone it is a shame that the hotel is so crappy because the aarons all suite is beautiful. i recommend that staff at the aarons hotel need to be trained better in customer service as i have never been treated that badly before by an employee somewhere i am paying to stay. i also recommend that they begin to ask people about parking.. thankyou kari & duane Mullewa WA

The rooms were small, but i expected that from reading other peoples' reviews. It was clean and neat when we checked in but housekeeping didnt come until late in the afternoon, and never replaced towels, coffee cups and water glasses with what they removed (there were three of us but we had to go to reception to get something every evening as we were short of one thing or another). The staff was consistently helpful and friendly, especially reception. The restaurant was priced very reasonably for the huge portions we were served. I would recommend Aaron's, so long as they get a better housekeeping dept!

Reception were curtious and helpful.

Did not appreciate the pornographic films available on the free to air tv.

The hotel is handy to the Hay Street and Murry Street malls and the Perth Rail station.

(1) The room is quite small. Maximum 2 persons, 3 a bit squeeze.
(2) The inside of the kettle is black, so quite unpaleteable to use for boiling water. Although it may not be an issue of hygiene, but definitely not pleasant. This is the reason why the free coffee and tea bags are untouched by us.
(3)The carpark facility within the hotel is small and the lots are too close for comfort. Not an easy place to park if one is driving a medium to big size car.

I booked through the internet and there was no problems. The car park was small and limited access.
A microwave oven would be handy.
The hotel location is very good

Our stay was for just one night. We arrived in Perth from England, and were booked to travel on the Indian Pacific to Adelaide the next day. We found the accommodation to be clean and ample for our needs. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I'd recommend the hotel bar/restaurant; I sampled my very first
