Reception was fine and friendly very helpful. Bed was fine slept well.

the internet promotion advertised cable tv and restaurant. this turned out not to be the case. there were plenty of eating places around the hotel. the furniture appeared quite well used considering the tristar is a 'new' hotel.

We really appreciated the girls at the reception desk who helped us plan our tours and make airport connections. We stayed in the Tristar December 10th, 29th and 30th. Please tell the people at the desk who worked those nights and days that we appreciated their service. The room was comfortable.

The breakfast menu was very sparse and many of the items on it were not in stock.

Would have been more convenient if a longer period for breakfast was on offer - you could only take breakfast up to 9am. Maybe free coffee for guest would be an idea, as you had to pay - there were no other drink or food facilities. Spacious with a large bathroom. Overall very reasonable room.

Poorly signposted from Geylang Road. No clear Tristar Hotel signs visible from main road. It will be better when the new restaurant next door/underneath hotel is completed and functional. It will make the corner of the street look nicer. I was happy with the room (403). However, I noticed that there were holes in the bedsheets, there was no remote control for the TV and the window catch was damaged (let in some road noise). These things don't really bother me because the important items were excellent - comfy bed, good powerful shower and quiet.
