MRT is appr. 5 min. from hotel. good location to city and airport. first day we had a small room. the other 2 days we got an free upgrade for a bigger one.

The hotel should provide a bell boy , it is unfortunate that a guest has to obtain and push his own luggage trolley and also carry the same to the taxi. Taxi service is not provided and a person has to wait for at least 15-20 mts for a taxi passing by.

Very resonable for the money we stayed three nights for a total of GBP60. Nightmare to find the hotel especially as the sign is not working! at night but otherwise not bad. Breakfast was pretty lame but maybe by Singapore standards it was good. If your expecting the Hilton stay away, but otherwise perfectly adequate, and clean enough for a short cheap stay. Staff were helpful & approachable too. Room had seen a flood at some pint and so some bad looking damage on walls and some furniture, bot otherwise okay. Was clean and sufficient but could have been just a little cleaner

A separate dining room would have been nice for breakfast. There were no knives at the breakfast bar and I would have appreciated better quality juice and bread. I found the paving around the pool to be dangerously slippery when it was wet and had to walk very carefully indeed. I witnessed one guest at breakfast time who actually skidded and fell on the slippery tiles. I would have REALLY appreciated English-style teabags (Liptons)and a couple of small tubs of UHT milk. I do not like green tea and cannot even look at satchets of artificial coffee with powdered cream and sugar, which was all that was offered.

It is very centrally located esp for Malays who frequent the places around Geyland and Joo Chiat. The front desk people are all very efficient and friendly esp the night officer and the girl who checked us out on Friday 16th. Altho the room was clean, there was a complaint from one of the rooms I booked Room 441, where we found bed bugs or mites on the bed at about 1am on the second night. We called the front office and he came with a bug sprayer and attended to it efficiently. We caught 5 bed bugs that night and another 3 an hour later. There was no incidences in the other room which we stayed in ie Room 428.

Reception area lacks a 'lice in' feel. Suggest placing some of your lovely potted tropical plants in this area to give the reception area more appeal and more welcoming! We felt that their could have been a canpodium in the rooms containing maps, features of you hotel, restaurants etc.

This hotel is in a excellent position if you are only planning a stopover as we were. Taxi to airport only cost $9.60SD and there are plenty of eating establishments near by. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here agin. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom facilities excellent. The linen was changed daily and the room cleaned. I believe ordering rooms in non smoking section ensures you of a better class of room. Fride, tea & coffee making facilites were provided as was an in room safe.

We really like the area and I have stayed there before. It is not in the usual tourist area but is much more interesting with little shops and lots of interesting foods to try. The swimming pool was a great drawcard for the children and we spent the hottest times of the day at the pool which was great. I would really recommend this hotel to families. Really good room for a family. Large sized with coffee table, desk and chairs. Plenty of room for the kids to spread their maps and books out.

No remote control for the TV is an inconvenience. Some fittings eg. control panel (near bed) and chair fittings gave away. Some room are not filtted with cable TV
