Good location. Thats all.

The room was fine, simply an odd shape. A little difficult to get tourist information from the staff as they were very busy. A terrific location and given accommodation prices in Singapore I believe it was good value for money.

This is my first visit to Singapore.. it was beautiful journey.. and i thankfully cause i get a nice hotel with the cheaper price, cleanliness room and of course the hotel near to everywhere (foodcourt 24 hour, MRT, Settle bus, Mall). i didn't get breakfast.. but so far so good with the comfortable i get form this hotel. Thank you holidayCity to recommended this hotel.. next trip you'll be my first list.. and i will to recommended you to my friend too...

The location hotel is very good. near from the other location such as Mosque, Restaurant, Shoping Mall, MRT and interesting place. Easy to get Taxi and Bus in front of the hotel.

My stay in this hotel met my expectations although not very much. The rooms are comfortable enough and of an average size. The hotel location were good near some MRTs. Overall, I would recommend staying at this for a few nights if you are willing to spend a few extra dollars for the convenient location.

Not bad value for money compared to some hotel prices in Singapore. Location is very handy and room faciliites OK, although I don't like the plastic cover mattress! Would stay there again.

well, you can't expect much from 2 star hotel... the best thing that you can get from this hotel is the room is clean and near foodcourt & dhoby ghaut station. Other than that, everything is so standard.

I wanted to try this since long time ago, but finally I did it because I wanted a budget hotel within my range, and of course good location where I can access MRT within 5 min walking distance. In terms of location, Hotel 81 Bencoolen is located a little bit far - around 10 min walk from Dhoby MRT station. Pricing was OK tough it's a little bit too high for budget. In fact, internet booking seemed to be more expensive than if you go straight to hotel without booking; however, of course you'll never know the availability. Another experience was, during my stay, the water pipe was broken and caused flood inside my room. Well, in general, I found this hotel nice for single traveller like me with good location and helpful staff, although the hotel is bit old and 'fragile' (refer to the broken pipe).

Hotel is conveniently located within 4 minutes walking distance to the nearest MRT station, taxis frequent with a taxi rank just outside the hotel, 24 hours eating places minute down the road wih a 24 hour Seven 11 across the road. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful. Walking distance to the beginning of Orchard Road Singapura Plaza.

this is a budget no frill hotel, clean and within walking distance of MRT, plenty of food shops nearby, Rochor centre, SIM LIM Square, John Little all within walking distance.

When I checked in, the staff were very quick and efficient, and was ushered to my room within 3 minutes of checking in.

Room was immaculate, very clean and has a nice view of Bencoolen Street.

I only have one suggestion, a refrigerator for storing cold drinks.

I would come back again.

Hotel stay was convenient and wonderful, only lacking is the restaurant.
